Anglo-Saxon Jewellery Making at the British Library

A jewellery making masterclass with creativity and inspiration from the British Library’s new exhibition Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms. 

Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms – a landmark exhibition on the history, art, literature and culture of Anglo-Saxon England from Friday 19 October 2018 to 

 – cost £95* includes materials and coffee/tea on arrival

During this masterclass taught by jewellery artist Sam Rowena Taylor, we will focus on the spiral and scroll designs that commonly decorated Anglo-Saxon manuscripts, metalwork and carvings on stone crosses. You will be taught how to work with wire to recreate a range of spiral design jewellery.
