some frequently asked questions
which workshop is it best to start with?
The easiest jewellery making topic to begin your jewellery making journey with, are the beadstringing classes; tigertail or leather & cord, everyone gets great results and these are usually their favourite classes.
The beginner wire classes are slightly more difficult and it normally takes a bit of practice to get used to using the hand tools and making loops, some student choose to do both the charm theme and loops & links theme classes so that they can practise their skills with different designs. On all the classes easier and more difficult design options are discussed/available.
children taking part
At the studio there is a limited table and room size which means that there is a maximum group size of 7 students, whether its children or adults. The 1-day classes are not suitable for young children, but the 2-hr or taster workshops would be fine for children to take part, although there will be particular topics that they will need extra help and assistance from some of the adults in the group. There also needs to be at least 2 adults in the group.
Please let me know when booking if there are children in the group, they each get £5 discount on the class fee.
